Ballestone Mission Statement

 

 

      The Ballestone Preservation Society was founded to preserve Ballestone-Stansbury House and the collection of American Decorative Arts (1780-1880) displayed within the interior of the recreated period rooms.  The society also sponsors a variety of special exhibits related to American History, American Decorative and Applied Arts, and the history of the site. The site is also host to a variety of seasonal events and the Living History re-enactments.  The society welcomes all who have a love for American and Local History, and an interest in American Decorative Arts, American Social History, and community team building and events.
